ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a bright, confident and creative social media manager to engage our passionate audience of professional chefs, home cooks, top bartenders and foodies. We are looking for somebody with broad, end-to-end social experience with a great flair for conversation, content creation and creativity.
Through the creation of compelling content across our digital platforms, you will use social media to raise awareness and grow a grassroots movement that will shape the future of food for the better. This is an opportunity to radically change the food system by actively engaging in conversations with some of the most innovative and influential personalities in the industry.
Your role will encompass social strategy, content creation, content strategy, content management, community and conversation management, influencer marketing, reporting and analytics.
Create and manage all our social media content. Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for our social media strategy and its execution.
Be centrally involved in developing a global social media strategy across 3 countries (and growing) in line with the brand and marketing objectives.
Working within the Brand team you’ll help develop the editorial calendar, and manage how this translates into a social media calendar.
Be as analytical as you are creative – lead the reporting on social media channel performance and use anecdotal and qualitative data to measure success, develop recommendations for future and test new approaches.
Be the go-to person for coordination of customer service through social channels. Actively engage in conversation across all our platforms and on our communities platforms on topics that reflect the Natoora mission and ethos.
We want to encourage and increase community content around our produce and key messages. You will need you to come up with ways to engage the community and put these into action.
Where necessary, support the Brand, Marketing and Retail Managers to drive participation with brand, events and retail product campaigns.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Deep understanding of the current social media landscape, namely how to use insight and gear algorithms to your advantage.
Be an avid social media follower and be knowledgeable about who is doing this well and why. Experience and understanding of the food industry across social platforms is an advantage.
Be able to switch seamlessly between the creative and the analytical, as well as be able to think strategically and tactically.
Be able to write compelling copy for social channels with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to create engagement about important issues in food.
Have 2-4 years’ experience in a social media or content creation role in a digital savvy brand or agency.
French speaking an advantage.
