BASED IN BERMONDSEY - Hours of work: 4pm – 1am on a rota, including weekends and bank holidays

ABOUT THE JOB

Recently named a Fast Track 100 Company by the Sunday Times, as well as one of Europe’s Fastest Growing companies by the Financial Times, we are building our customer services team to ensure second to none client management for our chefs and key accounts. You will be part of a small team, managing over 500 customers between you and sharing information on over 600 of the very best fruit, vegetables and other exception produce. If you have a second language, this is a great opportunity to use these skills as many of our customers are French, Italian, Spanish etc…

YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
  • Administering a very busy wholesale department
  • Processing customer orders from telephone/answerphone, fax and email
  • Placing customer orders onto our system
  • Liaising with Night Operations about customers specific requirements
  • Managing customer invoices and credit notes
  • Dealing with customers enquires
  • Working as part of a small team in a very busy department
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST
  • Be enthusiastic about food and the restaurants we supply
  • Be able to communicate to an excellent standard of English, both written and verbal
  • Have excellent IT skills and keyboard use
  • Recognize that attention to detail is paramount
  • Be able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Be reliable, professional and punctual and able to work to deadlines
  • Be calm have patience and be goal oriented
  • Have tenacity and willingness to learn
  • Be able to work both individually and as part of a team
  • A second language is an advantage
  • Experience in the fresh food industry is an advantage
  • References required
